26-1-1963: The offices of the Mahadev Desai Social Service School and Vidyapith were moved to the new building of Mahadev Desai Social Service College. Students themselves transported all the materials to the new building. Shri Thakorbhai Desai delivered a lecture on the goals of Vidyapith.
30-1-1963: A public prayer meeting was organized at the Satyagraha Ashram, Kochrab, under the chairmanship of Shri Tribhuvandas Patel. Shri Jayaprakash Narayan and Shri Maganbhai Desai gave spiritual discourses on the martyrdom of Mahatma Gandhi.

16-6-1963: A meeting of Vidyapith Board was held where some amendments were made to the Vidyapith's constitution. The meeting, chaired by Shri Morarji Desai, also decided to accept U.G.C. recognition while ensuring that the fundamental principles of Vidyapith were not compromised.
