2-3-1952: The twelfth convocation of Vidyapith was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, with the presence of Shri Morarji Desai.
Rajendra Prasad laid the foundation stone for the Gandhi Building, which was to be constructed for the Gujarat Vidyapith Library, with the support of the Gandhi Memorial Fund.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad unveiled the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Vallabh Vidyalaya, Bochasan, in the presence of Shri Morarji Desai.
