21-9-1933: Gandhiji laid the foundation stone for a building to house the books from the Gujarat Vidyapith library that had been handed over to the Ahmedabad Municipality.

8-1934: After Gandhiji ended his fast, some of Vidyapith's staff met with him to discuss the future of the Vidyapith.
25-10-1934: The government lifted the ban on the Vidyapith.

4-1-1935 to 13-6-1948: Shri Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel served as the Chancellor of the Vidyapith.
8-6-1935 to 12-8-1942: The Gujarat Vinay Mandir was re-established at the Vidyapith. The Kumar Vinay Mandir was established at Vidyapith.
Shri Vitthaldas Maganlal Kothari was appointed as the Principal of Gujarat Kumar Mandir and Gujarat VinayMandir.
15-8-1935: A music temple was established at Vidyapith to provide training up to the Music Visharad level under the supervision of Pandit Shri Narayan Moreshwar Khare.

15-3-1936: A graduate conference and fellowship conference were held at the Vidyapith under the chairmanship of Shri Dattatray Balakrishna Kalelkar.
31-10-1936: In the twelfth meeting of the Literary Council held in Ahmedabad, Gandhiji clarified the responsibilities and significance of Vidyapith in his keynote address.
1-11-1936: The tenth convocation ceremony of Vidyapith was held under the chairmanship of Gandhiji, during which one graduate and one expert were awarded degrees.
