Head Office Bochasan

Vallabh Vidyalaya came into being with the aim of creating awareness through education among the backward communities of Kheda district. Gujarat Vidyapith took over the responsibility of its management. Bochasan village gifted a large plot of one vigha land for the institution and also provided a cash assistance of Rs.600/-. The foundation of Vallabh Vidyalaya was inaugurated on 6th May 1931 by honorable Gandhiji and inaugurated on 8th June 1931 by Sri Morarjibhai Desai.

Vinayamandir Uttar Buniyadi Vidyalaya

In the year 1931, an elementary school (Kumarmandir) was established for class 5 to class 7. While working in this school, it was felt that students stay in the school and hostel for 3 years, during which they imbibe the seeds of hard work, self-reliance, honesty, regularity, responsibility, duty, social service etc. But further studying or working in a profession opposite to this environment, these rituals are soon lost. Therefore, if the student stays in the school and hostel for more years, these rituals will be strengthened.

Gangaba Gaushala Bochasan

Bochasan village participated in the Nakar struggle of 1930. In order to prevent the government from confiscating their property due to non-payment of land revenue, the students studying in Gujarat Vidyapith kept a camp there under the leadership of Mr. Shamalbhai Patel to relieve the confusion of the villagers when they went to the boundary of village Rudel in Vadodara Gaikwad government area near the village. Some sisters of Sabarmati Ashram under the leadership of Sri Gangaben Vaidhya also camped there. In the year 1931, after the Gandhi Irwin Pact, a treaty was signed with the government. As a result, the villagers left the camps and went back to their homes in the village. Students and sisters also returned to Ahmedabad.

Shree S. G. Patel Kanya Vidyalaya, Bhalel

Shree Shivabhai strongly believed that the education of girls is very necessary for the upliftment of the society and it is the vision of Gujarat Vidyapith also.

Government of Gujarat accepted to provide scholarship for girls for accommodation and food. Thirteen farmers of Bhalel village willingly sold their sixteen and a half bigha land at a fair price.

Girls Hostel Bharel

Girls Hostel was started along with Girls School. The students studying in Vinay Mandir Bochasan, requested Shivabhai to plan for the education of girls. There was also awareness in the society that daughters should be educated. Shivabhai strongly believed that education of girls is very important for the upliftment of the society. It was the vision of Gujarat Vidyapith to educate girls. Hence, the Hostel ha become the pillar of the education. Shivabhai made great efforts in the direction of Girls Hostel. Government of Gujarat has accepted to provide food scholarship to the girls of Girls Hostel. Presently, 110 students get food scholarship.

PTC College Bochasan

The main objective of Vallabh Vidyalaya has been village service and all-round development of backward class students. Primary school teachers are always considered village servants. And for the purpose of imparting proper training to them, a teaching center was started in the institute. After the independence of India, there was a radical change in education. Efforts were made to introduce the basic education suggested by honorable Gandhiji in education. For that, the primary school syllabus was changed. With the entry into the primary education industry, there was a need for industry training for teachers and education inspectors. Vallabh Vidyalaya was chosen as the venue for industry training in Gujarat.

Kumar Madir School Bochasan

Vallabh Vidyalaya was started from Kumaramandir (Standard 5 to 7). Therefore, Kumaramandir is the earliest and oldest department of Vallabh Vidyalaya. The Kumaramandir was started in the year 1931. At that time the school was recognized by the British government. But the Kumaramandir was not recognized by the British Government as it was started at Bochasan as a part of the Gujarat Vidyapith.

Girls Hostel was started along with Girls School. The students of studying in Vinay Mnadir Bosachan, demanded Pu. Shivabhai to make arrangements for the education of girls. There was also awareness in the society thet daughters should be educated. Pu. Shivabhai strongly believed that education of girls is very important for the upliftment of the society. It was the vision of Gujarat Vidyapith to educate girls. Hence, the Hostel ha become the pillar of the education. Pu. Shivabhai made great efforts in the direction of Girls Hostel. Government of Gujarat has accepted to provide food scholarship to the girls of Girls Hostel. Presently, 110 students get food scholarship.

Boys Hostel Bochasan

Kumar Hostel originated from the very beginning of Vallabh Vidyalaya. Initially students from Kumaramandir were admitted in this hostel. Now 70% of Scheduled Castes (Bakshipanch), 20% of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and economically backward students are admitted from Class 5 to 12. It gets 100% food grant and 90% salary grant of Social Welfare (Vikasati Caste).
