Qualification: Ph. D.

Dr. Rajiv Patel has been a faculty member at Gujarat Vidyapith since 1994, specializing in Rural Management. Throughout his career, he has taught a wide range of subjects, including ‘Research Methodology’, ‘Marketing Management’, ‘Fields of Rural Development Management’, ‘Rural Development’ and ‘Organic Farming’. He has played a pivotal role in designing courses at both the B.R.S. and M.B.A. levels. He has authored six books and published over 38 articles in national and international journals. With seven research projects to his name, he also served on key university committees such as the Academic Council, Executive Council, Building Committee, Gram-Seva Committee and Hostel Committee.

Dr. Lokesh Jain has been teaching since 01.07.2004 at Gujarat Vidyapith, He has specialization in Rural Management, Entrepreneurship Management, Cooperative Management and Traditional wisdom of Rural/ Tribal. Over the year, He has taught diverse courses such as Principles and Practices of Management, Fields of Rural Development Management, Management of Rural Institutions, Human Resource Management, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, Production Management and Managerial Economics with Gandhian Economic thoughts. He has instrumental in designing the course Diploma in Cooperative Management with NCUI, New Delhi for the students of our department. He has authored more than 15 books, 20 chapters in the books and more than 100 articles published in various care listed, peer reviewed national and international journals. He has presented more than 100 papers in National and International Seminars. He has chair the sessions in more than 15 conferences.

He has completed two UGC sponsored MRP and one Handicraft of Ministry of Textile, Government of India is going on. One research project form MGNCRE (GOI), Hyderabad is under submission stage. 3 M.Phil students and 7 Ph.D. students have been awarded and 7 Ph.D scholars are working under his supervision. He has evaluated 15 Ph.D. & M.Phil work of various university of Gujarat & other states. He has worked as chairman in academic council of Cooperative department of M.S. University, and members in Rural Study department of VNSGU and Saurashtra University in Gujarat.

He has worked as Member of IQAC, Gujarat Vidyapith committee, Gujarat Vidyapith Mandal, Anti-Ragging Committee of the department and faculty. He has carried out various responsibilities given by head of department time to time. He is working as NSS Programme officer since 2004 in this department and now in faculty of management.

Dr. Satish Patel has been actively contributing to Gujarat Vidyapith since 1997, with expertise spanning ICT, System Management, E-Governance, E-Commerce, Data Analytics, and Technology Management for Sustainable Rural Development. Throughout his career, he has taught a variety of courses including “Computer Application”, “Management Information System”, “Technology Management”, and “ICT”. His contributions extend to the design of significant academic programs like “MRM, MBA (Rural Management)” and “BRS (RPD)”. He is an accomplished author, with 10 books, 12 book chapters, and more than 60 articles published in national and international journals. He has led 16 research and consultancy projects and successfully supervised more than 100 PG, 6 M.Phil and 7 Ph.D. research students. Additionally, he has presented over 25 research papers at various conferences and seminars.

Dr. Satish Patel has actively contributed to NAAC assessments and served as a member of the university and department’s IQAC teams. He also holds positions as a nodal officer for various institutional initiatives, including AICTE, NIRF, AISHE, UBA, KCG, and various ICT committees at Gujarat Vidyapith. He serves on the Board of Studies for the Rural Studies department at VNSGU. His contributions have been recognized with awards such as the “Vikaspedia Content Contributor & Innovator Award” from C-DAC, India, and the “Perennial Assistance Award” from the UBA Cell IIT& HRD Ministry. He has been responsible for designing and maintaining ICT infrastructure, including the wireless network, and overseeing the management of the computer centers at Sadra and Randheja from 1997 to 2024.

Dr. Amisha Shah has been working at Gujarat Vidyapith since 2012, specializing in Commerce and Management. Her extensive teaching portfolio includes courses such as ‘Accounting for Managers’, ‘Financial Management’, ‘Research Methodology & Statistics’, ‘Project Management’, ‘Computerized Accounting System’, ‘Marketing Management’, and ‘Fields of Rural Development Management’. She has played a crucial role in developing curricula for several of these courses, notably ‘Accounting for Managers’, ‘Financial Management’, ‘Research Methodology & Statistics’ and ‘Computerized Accounting System’.

Dr. Amisha Shah is an accomplished author, having written one book and over 20 articles published in various national and international journals. Her research contributions include three research projects and more than ten papers presented at conferences and seminars. Since 2018, she has been an active member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). Additionally, she has been deeply involved in student development activities and, as of May 2024, has taken on the role of Head of the Student Sports, Cultural, and Welfare Branch. Her work reflects a strong commitment to both academic excellence and student enrichment.
