Dr. Dharmendra Kadia is a distinguished academician and technocrat currently serving as Director, Vishwakarma Institure of Kaushalya and Swavlamban. He passed Bachelor of Engineering(Power Electronics) in 1991. He completed his M Tech.(Electronics & Communication) in 2005 and also done his Phd. in 2014.

His Journey starts from 1992 as a Lecturer in Dr. S & S S Gandhi College of Engineering & Technology, Surat. In 1994 he joined Lukhdhirji Engineering College, Morbi. In 1995 he joined University Science Instrumentation Centre, Gujarat Vidyapith, Ahmedabad as a Technical officer/ Lecturer. In 2004 he was appointed as Head of the Department. In 2023 he was appointed as a Director, ITI, Appropriate Technology Centre, Gujarat Vidyapith.

He was awarded National award for Excellence in Science and Information Technology by International association of Educator for the World Peace (IAEWP) USA. He is also nominated for "Dr. Vikram Sarabhai award for Junior Scientist" by Gujarat Council of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. Appointed as a Expert for making Colour Television curriculum by Canadian- Indian Institute Industries project by Government Polytechnic, Gandhinagar. He is a Coordinator for Energy Project in Gujarat Vidyapith. He is also doing extension activities like organizing training programme for rural youth. He has various talk on All India Radio, Doordarshan, Zee TV, E TV regarding Energy Projects of Gujarat Vidyapith.
